Wanna make more and spend less? We are launching a new series of articles to help you with that
Over the past few months, the team of house of gigs has been talking to many of you. We not only reached out to say thank you but more importantly wanted to spend time listening to your challenges and see how we could help you more.
During our 100+ conversations with you, we found out that some of you were students, expecting a child or enjoying retirement. Some of you were already gigging full-time while some of you were just discovering this new economy and did not know really how to start. However, what we heard from most of you was that you wanted to have better control of your life. And that started with having better financial control of your life.
That is why we are launching a series of articles to help you increase your net earnings. As you may know, your net earnings are your gross earnings (what you get paid by the platforms) minus your expenses (gas, insurance, etc…) so we will help you work on both sides.
The tips will be around building a robust stream of earnings accessing higher-paying gigs, organizing your schedule differently or even trying to increase your tip earnings so you can make more at the end of the day. We will also provide you with actionable insights on how to manage or reduce your big professional expenses as a gig worker. There are lots of things you can do to minimize your key expenses and we will cover all of this and help you find ways to save a meaningful amount!
Our goal is to support you in becoming a successful independent worker: whether we help you find a gig, help you manage your money more easily or provide access to useful services, we want to be a resource for you. If you have any ideas or want to share some key challenges you need help with, please just shoot us an email at [email protected] and we will get back to you ASAP!
You can get started on our mobile app right away to find some gigs around you and access services at a discounted price.
The first post will be released next week so be on the lookout!
